FAQ

How do we book in with you? Do we meet up first?

A.That’s totally up to you. We can chat over the phone, a Zoom call or in person over a cup of tea (or an ice cold beer!). Fill in the contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can, or give us a call.

How does payment work?

A.We charge 50% upfront, and the remaining balance is payable 3 months before.

What are the travel costs?

A.We love to travel, so no matter where you’re based we’ll do our best to get to you and shoot your big day. We’ll create a custom destination package depending on your location – get in touch for a quote.

Do you need to visit the site beforehand?

A.This isn’t normally required. We’ve shot at a huge variety of venues, and so much can change on the day – the lighting, the weather, etc. We try to get there as early as possible on the day to have a good look around.

What happens if it’s pouring with rain on our wedding day?

A.Embrace it! None of us can predict the weather, and we’re happy to be adventurous if you are. We’ll find some sheltered places and we’ll bring a large umbrella with us (we’re British, after all).
Rain can look incredible, especially back-lit at night. If you’re happy to get stuck in, then so are we.

What if your camera breaks?

A.We’re pros, don’t worry! Both of us have two cameras, so there are plenty of back ups. We’ve got multiple lenses, batteries and flash guns, so we’re prepared for anything that might happen.

We hate posed shots, is that a problem?

A.Not at all. We shoot in a natural and unobtrusive way to capture your authentic self – so no awkward poses at all. We like to make the parents happy with a few traditional group shots, and then whisk you both off for some beautiful couple shots too. This gives you a bit of time together away from all the madness – this can take as little as 15 minutes, or longer if you’re enjoying the peace and quiet for a while!

Do you have insurance?

A.Yep. We have both public liability insurance and camera insurance.

Do we need to feed you?

A.Yes please!
We definitely need some fuel, and most venues offer a ‘supplier’ meal. A hot meal gives us an extra burst of energy ready for those dance floor photos! (Note: Emma is a vegetarian.)

How does your editing process work?

A.After your big day, we hand edit each image with care, cropping them, adjusting the colour and playing with contrast. We keep the photographs mainly natural, capturing the day exactly as it is. We’re happy to remove a red spot, but we don’t touch anything else physically on the body or face. If you do desire further edits, we can get you a quote from a digital artist for further work.

Do the images come in colour or black and white?

A.All your images will come in colour, and the ones which suit it will also be in black and white. We’re also happy to convert any others after you’ve seen them!

How long after the wedding will the images be ready?

A.We don’t want to keep you waiting too long! Your edited photographs will be ready 4-8 weeks after your big day, but we’ll send over a sneak peek preview within 1-2 weeks.

How many images do we get?

A.Loooooads! The exact amount mainly depends on the timings and events on your day. Don’t worry though, there will be absolutely loads of coverage – we don’t miss a thing.

How do we receive our photos?

A.We send your images over to you via a digital download gallery, which can then be shared with family and friends. We also send over a beautiful USB presentation box with a selection of your favourite prints and all your images on USB.

Can we make our own prints from the images?

A.Absolutely! We definitely recommend you print them. There are no watermarks on your images, so they’re ready to be printed and displayed around your home, or given as gifts. We’re here to help if you would like us to get them printed for you.

Do you do physical albums?

A.We offer beautiful bespoke handmade wedding albums – please let us know if you'd like to find out more.
